We were moved to the main hotel and got the deluxe room Friendly staff Beautiful modern hotel Room was huge Very comfortable bed with gorgeous crisp sheets BREAKFAST WAS AMAZING Sunday Brunch was also FANTASTIC with buffet style fruit de mer Gorgeous rooftop bar with live music in the evening

This was a great place to stay, few minutes from centre of town. Staff were excellent, the place is very clean. Will return next year.

We loved our stay at Chais Monnet. The hotel has that 'wow factor' moment as you drive in and we really felt like we were walking into a 5* hotel. The apartment exceeded our expectations and the pictures don't do it justice! The rooms were big, spacious, very clean, quiet and had everything we needed including a kitchen for us to self cater. We got a really good deal and found it hard to believe with how good it was. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and we loved the facilities. The indoor/outdoor pool was well maintained and we spent a lot of time in the garden drinking wine and swimming. Our friends had their baby and we found it very family friendly but not overrun with kids. The location is not far into the centre of Cognac, maybe 15 minute walk and lots to see on the way. There were bikes available but we didn't make use of this, also lots of undercover parking available.
